Video Projects

The videos on this playlist were projects developed for video production classes during my undergraduate program at Auburn University at Montgomery

Section 107 of U.S. copyright law states that "the fair use of a copyrighted work, including such use by reproduction in copies or phonorecords or by any other means specified by that section, for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching (including multiple copies for classroom use), scholarship, or research, is not an infringement of copyright" (Copyright Law of the United States, Chapter 1 Section 107)

The producer of these videos do not claim any copyright to the music or photographs used in these short videos that were not originally created by the producer. Additionally, the producer does not earn or claim any monetary or financial benefit from these videos. They are purely to showcase projects created and used within an education setting during a university class.

Video Editing Software: Adobe Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro, and iMovie (to integrate royalty free music and audio effects).

Action Sequence

The action sequence is a video project that was produced for a nonlinear video editing class at Auburn University at Montgomery. The short clips of music falls under "fair use" copyright laws because of it's intended educational use. Additionally, the music clip is within the time that is legally acceptable to use copyrighted material. The producer of this film does not claim any copyright to this music.

Short Film

The Tea Rush is another video production class project that was open-ended where we were tasked with creating a short film. The producer does not claim any copyright to the music.

Movie Scene Recreation

The movie scene recreation is a project where students are asked to take a scene from a movie or television show and attempt to recreate it. The movie scene in this clip is inspired by a film from South Korea, Friend. Since the video is a recreation of the scene and does not use any original clips from the movie, it falls under the  "fair use" copyright laws.

Public Service Announcement

This was a joint video project for a nonlinear video editing class at Auburn University at Montgomery, which was created by myself and a fellow classmate, Sangjin Kim. The music used for this video falls under "fair use" copyright laws because it was developed for educational purposes. The producers of this video do not claim any copyright to the music used in this video.

News Segment

This news sequence was part of a video production project for an upper level college class at Auburn University at Montgomery. The music is fair use because it is free music offered through the iMovie editing software.
